Here’s some more iPhone number crunching based on the estimate by AT&T of 712,000 iPhone 3Gs sold as of July 23, 2008, - As I estimated, the 180 US Apple stores move about 120 units/day each such that Apple sells 21,600 phones/day. - In 13 days, Apple stores can only sell about 280,800 iPhones... - Apple iPhone 3G sales will hit 1,000,000 US about today (I estimate)

I’m estimating that some time in the next few days, Apple and/or AT&T will announce that they hit the 1,000,000 mark in US sales of the new iPhone3G somewhere around today, July 30. It is considered remarkable when you consider that it took 74 days for the 1st generation iPhone to sell 1,000... - Mobile coolness ? I get it, but I don?t want it
